Muscat, As many as 1167 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) were registered in Oman today, in addition to 12 new Covid-19-related death cases.

This brings the total number of positive Covid-19 cases to 286,072 in the Sultanate.

The total number of Covid-19-related death cases reached 3435, the Ministry of Health said.

The Ministry added that 1861 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 259,550 recoveries.

The Ministry also pointed out that 119 cases were hospitalized over the past 24 hours, as the total number of current hospitalized Covid-19-infected patients stands at 1341 of them 477 are in intensive care units (ICUs).
