Muscat, As many as 1508 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) were registered today in Oman, in addition to 16 new Covid-19-related death cases.

This brings the total number of positive Covid-19 cases to 185,278 in the Sultanate.

The total number of Covid-19-related death cases reached 1942, the Ministry of Health said.

The Ministry also pointed out that 1301 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 165,051 recoveries.

The Ministry also pointed out that 107 cases were hospitalized over the past 24 hours, adding that the total number of current hospitalized Covid-19-infected patients stands at 822, of them 266 are in intensive care units (ICUs).
