Muscat, As many as 1806 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) were registered in the Sultanate during the past 24 hours, in addition to 19 new Covid-19-related death cases.

This brings the total number of positive Covid-19 cases to 236,440 in the Sultanate.

The total number of Covid-19-related death cases reached 2532, the Ministry of Health said.

The Ministry added that 542 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 211,494 recoveries.

The Ministry also pointed out that 173 cases were hospitalized over the past 24 hours, as the total number of current hospitalized Covid-19-infected patients stands at 1196 of them 373 are in intensive care units (ICUs).
