Muscat, As many as 2126 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) were registered today in the Sultanate, in addition to 33 new Covid-19-related death cases.

This brings the total number of positive Covid-19 cases to 238,566 in the Sultanate.

The total number of Covid-19-related death cases reached 2565, the Ministry of Health said.

The Ministry added that 570 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 212,064 recoveries.

The Ministry also pointed out that 164 cases were hospitalized over the past 24 hours, as the total number of current hospitalized Covid-19-infected patients stands at 1247 of them 374 are in intensive care units (ICUs).
