Muscat, As many as 2142 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) were registered today in the Sultanate, in addition to 26 new Covid-19-related death cases.

This brings the total number of positive Covid-19 cases to 240,708 in the Sultanate.

The total number of Covid-19-related death cases reached 2591, the Ministry of Health said.

The Ministry added that 744 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 212,808 recoveries.

The Ministry also pointed out that 181 cases were hospitalized over the past 24 hours, as the total number of current hospitalized Covid-19-infected patients stands at 1282 of them 383 are in intensive care units (ICUs).
