Muscat, As many as 236 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) were registered in the Sultanate during the past 24 hours, in addition to 12 new Covid-19-related death cases.

This brings the total number of positive Covid-19 cases to 298,942 in the Sultanate.

The total number of Covid-19-related death cases reached 3948, the Ministry of Health said.

The Ministry added that 607 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 285,664 recoveries.

The Ministry also pointed out that 28 cases were hospitalized over the past 24 hours, as the total number of current hospitalized Covid-19-infected patients stands at 344 of them 158 are in intensive care units (ICUs).
