Muscat, As many as 2529 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) were registered in the Sultanate today, in addition to 31 new Covid-19-related death cases.

This brings the total number of positive Covid-19 cases to 250,572 in the Sultanate.

The total number of Covid-19-related death cases reached 2741, the Ministry of Health said.

The Ministry added that 1330 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 220,171 recoveries.

The Ministry also pointed out that 188 cases were hospitalized over the past 24 hours, as the total number of current hospitalized Covid-19-infected patients stands at 1448 of them 428 are in intensive care units (ICUs).
