Muscat, As many as 293 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) were registered in the Sultanate during the past 24 hours, in addition to 12 new Covid-19-related death cases. This brings the total number of positive Covid-19 cases to 297,724 in the Sultanate.

The total number of Covid-19-related death cases reached 3889, the Ministry of Health said.

The Ministry added that 797 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 281,724 recoveries.

The Ministry also pointed out that 30 cases were hospitalized over the past 24 hours, as the total number of current hospitalized Covid-19-infected patients stands at 434 of them 194 are in intensive care units (ICUs).
