Muscat, As many as 3177 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) were registered in the Sultanate during the past 3 days, in addition to 28 new Covid-19-related death cases.

This brings the total number of positive Covid-19 cases to 223,879 in the Sultanate.

The total number of Covid-19-related death cases reached 2413, the Ministry of Health said.

The Ministry added that 2459 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 204,480 recoveries.

The Ministry also pointed out that 114 cases were hospitalized over the past 24 hours, as the total number of current hospitalized Covid-19-infected patients stands at 937 of them 290 are in intensive care units (ICUs).
