Muscat, As many as 491 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) were registered today in Oman, in addition to 17 new Covid-19-related death cases.

This brings the total number of positive Covid-19 cases to 295,017 in the Sultanate.

The total number of Covid-19-related death cases reached 3788, the Ministry of Health said.

The Ministry added that 527 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 277,010 recoveries.

The Ministry also pointed out that 50 cases were hospitalized over the past 24 hours, as the total number of current hospitalized Covid-19-infected patients stands at 666 of them 281 are in intensive care units (ICUs).
