Muscat, As many as 572 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) were registered today in Oman, in addition to 18 new Covid-19-related death cases.

This brings the total number of positive Covid-19 cases to 294,526 in the Sultanate.

The total number of Covid-19-related death cases reached 3771, the Ministry of Health said.

The Ministry also pointed out that 723 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 276,483 recoveries.

The Ministry also pointed out that 53 cases were hospitalized over the past 24 hours, adding that the total number of current hospitalized Covid-19-infected patients stands at 723 of them 292 are in intensive care units (ICUs).
