6.5 magnitude quake rocks Bali in Indonesia

Denpasar, Bali (Indonesia): A major quake measuring 6.5 on the Richter scale jolted Bali early on Tuesday, but no report of casualty and damage to property on the tourist island. The Indonesian News Agency, “ANTARA News” quoting meteorology and geophysics office said the epicenter was in the sea 10 kilometer deep, 308 kilometers southwest of the city or 956 kilometers southeast of Jakarta.

The meteorology office said the quake had no potential to trigger tsunami.
