Muscat, As many as 686 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) were registered in the Sultanate during the past 3 days, in addition to 30 new Covid-19-related death cases. This brings the total number of positive Covid-19 cases to 298,706 in the Sultanate.

The total number of Covid-19-related death cases reached 3936, the Ministry of Health said.

The Ministry added that 2294 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 285,057 recoveries.

The Ministry also pointed out that 30 cases were hospitalized over the past 24 hours, as the total number of current hospitalized Covid-19-infected patients stands at 359 of them 163 are in intensive care units (ICUs).
