Muscat, As many as 982 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) were registered today in the sultanate, in addition to 37 new Covid-19-related death cases.

This brings the total number of positive Covid-19 cases to 287,054 in the Sultanate.

The total number of Covid-19-related death cases reached 3472, the Ministry of Health said.

The Ministry also pointed out that 1276 new cases have recovered, bringing the total number to 260,826 recoveries.

The Ministry also pointed out that 122 cases were hospitalized over the past 24 hours, adding that the total number of current hospitalized Covid-19-infected patients stands at 1290 of them 458 are in intensive care units (ICUs).
