Muscat, Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi
held a virtual meeting today with his Turkish counterpart Mevlut
Cavusoglu on the sidelines of the 76th meetings of the UN General
Assembly.
During the meeting, Sayyid Badr and Cavusoglu stressed the need to
upgrade bilateral coordination to keep pace with the two countries’
growing economic and investment cooperation.
They also exchanged views on key regional and international
developments, including climate challenges, efforts for recovery from
Covid-19 pandemic and the UN agenda for sustainable development.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Qasim Mohammed Al Salhi, the
Sultanate’s Ambassador to Turkey.
