Oman Reports Two Cases of Omicron

Muscat, The Ministry of Health (MOH) has announced the registration of first two cases of the new COVID-19variant “Omicron” forcitizens coming from abroad.

The health conditions of the patients are stable. They are currently under epidemiological surveillance.

The Ministry calls upon all to fully adhere to the preventive measures, which include wearing masks in closed spaces, maintaining physical distance and hand hygiene, as well as avoiding crowded areas.

MOH further urges those who are 18 years and above to take the booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine at primary health care institutions.
