Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan, Minister of Labour, met with Dr. Enas Al Attari, Minister of Labour of Palestine, on the sidelines of the 112th International Labour Conference held in Switzerland.
The meeting discussed means to enhance cooperation and reviewed topics of common interest.
Humaidan emphasised Bahrain’s support of the Palestinian cause and its advocacy for the rights of the Palestinian people for freedom, dignity, and justice, as well as their legitimate rights to establish an independent state, with East Jerusalem as its capital, based on the two-state solution and international legitimacy resolutions.
He underscored the Kingdom’s support for Palestinian labour issues in international forums.
For her part, Al Attari commended Bahrain’s firm stance on the Palestinian cause and its efforts on Arab and international levels to protect the rights of the Palestinian people.
