Vice Admiral Abdullah Khamis Al Raisi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), today received General Youssouf Idjihadi, Chief of Defence Staff of the Union of the Comoros.
The meeting took place at SAF Chief of Staff’s office at Al Murtafa’a garrison.
An official reception ceremony was held in honour of General Youssouf Idjihadi upon his arrival at Al Murtafa’a garrison, where the Guard of Honour gave the military salute to the accompaniment of a military music. Then, the guest inspected the .Guard of Honour
Lt. Gen. Abdullah welcomed General Youssouf Idjihadi. During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views about matters common interest.
The meeting was attended by Brigadier Hamid Abdullah Al Balushi, SAF Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations and Planning, senior SAF officers and the delegation accompanying the guest.
