Oil Prices Rise amid Middle East Supply Concerns


Oil prices rose today on concerns that tensions in the Middle East could hit regional supply, while a major hurricane loomed over the United States, the world’s biggest crude producer.

Brent crude futures for November were up 21 cents, or 0.3 %, at $74.11a barrel.

US WTI crude futures for November rose 24 cents, or 0.3%, to $70.61.

Both crudes closed lower yesterday amid concerns about demand.
