Oman Participates in Meeting of Arab Environment Ministers


The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Environment Authority, took part today in the meetings of the 35th session of the Council of Arab Ministers Responsible for Environment Affairs, held in Jeddah, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

Oman’s delegation was headed by Dr. Abdullah Ali Al Amri, Chairman of the Environment Authority.

The meeting discussed a spectrum of environmental topics of relevance to the Arab region, including environmental challenges, international conventions and following up on the implementation of the UN Decade for Ecosystem Restoration, among other matters of relevance.
