Amara Maysan police announced the arrest of a woman accused of stealing women in the city of Amarah.

The police said in a statement, “a security detachment from the town’s Anti-crime division in the leadership, and after collecting information and investigations, following a report submitted by a female citizen that she was exposed to the theft of a sum of money amounting to one million dinars and gold jewelry in the large market of Al-Amara, managed to arrest the accused in the market in her possession the stolen money and gold jewelry.

It explained that the accused had confessed to carrying out five thefts of sums of money from women, including the theft of the complainant.
