Baghdad The detachments of the Baghdad Anti-Crime Directorate/Al-Ghazaliya Anti-Crime Bureau arrested a woman accused of promoting a counterfeit currency, of (25,000 dinars).

A statement by the Ministry of Interior stated: The accused was arrested in flagrante delicto while promoting the currency.

It added: The statements of the accused were written down, and legal measures were taken duly against her, and her arrest was duly done in accordance with the provisions of Article 52 of the Central Bank Law.
