Baquba A young woman was killed by a stray bullet fired from her father’s weapon while he was cleaning a Kalashnikov in Khanaqin, in Diyala.
A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that a 17-year-old woman from Banmil area in Khanaqin district, northeast of Baquba, was killed by a stray bullet while her father was cleaning his Kalashnikov weapon.
He added that the body was taken to Khanaqin General Hospital. Meanwhile, the security services opened an investigation into the accident.
