“We are not in the process of concluding new political alliances, neither with the Free Patriotic Movement nor with others, and our policy is based on zero problems with everyone, in anticipation and avoidance of the worse,” asserted Democratic Gathering Member, MP Wael Abu Faour, on Saturday.

“We are not part of the current political conflicts over the government, and our only bias is towards the Lebanese citizen amidst the daily suffering he is enduring,” Abou aour added, stressing that “any official who does not make concessions in order to form a government is a criminal, especially those in the position of supreme authority.”

Abou Faour’s words came during his participation in a meeting with the Progressive Youth Organization’s cadre, which was held at the National Library in Baakline in the presence of senior Party dignitaries and youth representatives in the region.

The MP praised the Organization’s initiative for its action against companies that import and monopolize medicines while depriving the Lebanese citizens of their needed medication.

He called on the Organization to work towards more moves to end the oppression against the Lebanese citizen, especially in facing major monopoly companies.
