Kuwait, Al Shabiba Radio won the YouTube and social media programmes award in recognition for the radio service’s report titled “What We Saw Was Something Overwhelming”. The prize stems from the Kuwait Creativity Award.

The winning report was based on Al Shabiba’s coverage of the Tropical Cyclone Shaheen, live as it unfolded, as well as the cyclone’s direct impacts on the Wilayat of Al Khabourah in the North Al Batinah Governorate. The report received more than half a million views on Al Shabiba’s YouTube channel.
