Madrid, Real Madrid today received some welcome news, as head coach Carlo Ancelotti has tested negative for COVID-19 and is travelling to London to be on the touchline for the first leg of Los Blancos ‘UEFA Champions League quarter-final tie against Chelsea.
The Italian coach was unable to travel with the rest of the team yesterday(Tuesday) because he was still returning positive COVID-19 tests, despite being practically asymptomatic.
Chelsea host Real Madrid in a repeat of last year’s Champions League semi-final, and as reported by Radio MARCA, Ancelotti will be in charge of the team at Stamford Bridge.
