The Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU) strongly condemned on Tuesday the violence in Sudan, which led a huge number of casualties and damages to private and public properties.

The AIPU called for self-restraint and avoiding all acts that might escalate the situation.

It expressed its support to all efforts leading to peace and stability in Sudan, expressing at the same time, the union’s sorrow over the victims of violence and those injured in the fray.
