Arab League condemns shooting attack in Tunisia
Arab League Secretary General Ahmad Abul Gheit strongly condemned Thursday the shooting attack on the La Ghriba synagogue in Djerba in Tunisia, which claimed the lives of four people and injured many others.
In a statement, Abul Gheit expressed his condolences to the Tunisian Presdient, people and families of the victims, wishing the injured speedy recovery. He also extended his regards to the security and military forces for their vigilance in thwarting this operation and limiting its potential effects.
Abul Gheit reaffirmed the Arab League’s full solidarity and support for Tunisia in every effort aimed at eliminating criminal acts aimed at destabilizing the country’s stability and security.
