ARMY COMMANDER VISITS BADARO MILITARY HOSPITAL

ARMY COMMANDER VISITS BADARO MILITARY HOSPITAL

Lebanese Armed Forces Commander, General Joseph Aoun, visited the military hospital in Badaro, where he toured its departments and reviewed the progress of work in it, in the presence of a member of the Military Council, Major General Elias Shamiya, Chief of Medical Staff, in addition to army officers and medical staff.

Aoun praised the exerted efforts made by the military medical team, despite the challenges and difficult economic conditions.

He stressed that “medicine is currently on the list of the Army leadership’s priorities, as most of the aid provided by donors who believe in the necessity of supporting and assisting the army has been transferred to it,” adding that the Army Command is communicating with friendly countries to request medicines and medical supplies.

“The safety and wellbeing of our soldiers and their families is entrusted in our hands, and their steadfastness in the face of the prevailing crisis is a priority for us,” the Army Chief underscored.
