Lebanese Army Command – Orientation Directorate issued a statement this afternoon, in which it indicated that “On December 25, 2021, between 17:20 & 21:48 hours, seven hostile naval violations were recorded in the Lebanese territorial waters off Ras al-Naqoura, to a maximum distance of 462 meters.”

“Some enemy units threw a flare bomb and fired several shots over the aforementioned sea spot,” the statement added, noting that “said violations are being followed-up in coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in South Lebanon.”
