Muscat: The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MTCIT), represented by the Roads Department in Al-Wusta Governorate, has removed the accumulated sand on roads in the governorate, including the Adam-Haimat-Thumrait highway.

ROP has urged the Adam-Thumrait highway users to pay attention to the sand that has accumulated on the road near Ghbar bridge due to the active winds.

According to Oman Meterology, the dust wave formed in Southern Iran and Pakistan will extend towards the Sultanate, with the possibility of its impact on the coasts of the Sea of Oman for some time.
