Manama, Bahrain All Share Index closed at 1,979.88 points, marking an increase of 19.56 points above the previous closing.
This increase was due to the rise in the financials sector and the real estate sector.
The Bahrain Islamic Index closed at 820.01 points, marking an increase of 23.83 points above the previous closing.
Results indicated that 87 equity transactions took place with a volume of 2,135,956 worth BD 688,639.
Investors traded mainly in the financials sector, representing 68% of the total value of securities traded.
