Bahrain expressed sympathy with Brazil, and its support for the Brazilian government and its people due to the floods that swept the state of Bahia.

The floods led to the death and injury of a number of people and the displacement of thousands, and caused extensive property damage.

The Foreign Affairs Ministry extended condolences and sympathy of the Kingdom to the government and people of Brazil, and to the families of the victims, expressing its wishes for a speedy recovery for the ones injured.
