Bahrain Radio and Television mark Egypt’s national celebrations

(BNA): The Bahrain Radio and Television today joined brotherly Egypt in its celebrations of its National Days, through a series of programme marking Egypt’s celebration of the anniversary of the glorious July 23 Revolution, within the framework of the distinguished long-standing relations between Bahrain and Egypt.

On the occasion, Assistant Undersecretary for Radio and Television, Abdulla Khalid Al-Dossari, stated that with the follow-up of Information Affairs Minister, Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi, the Bahrain Radio and Television had prepared a package of special direct shows, breaks and patriotic songs to celebrate the happy occasion for all Bahrainis and Egyptians, in light of the solid fraternal relations between the two countries and the special status Egypt enjoys among Bahrainis- King, government and people.

Al-Dossari asserted that the Bahrain Radio and Television’s coverage of the occasion is themed “The History of Two Civilisations”, reflecting the distinguished solid bilateral relations.

Within the celebrations of the 69th anniversary of the July 23 glorious Revolution, the Bahrain TV has prepared a number of programmes, including reports, interviews and talk shows, in addition to telephone and video calls with a number of personalities to shed light on the Bahraini-Egyptian relations, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi of Egypt, he said, adding that the Bahrain TV will also air the official celebrations, attended by President Al-Sisi, as well as Egyptian patriotic and folk songs marking the occasion.

Bahrain Radio has also prepared a series of programmes and reports that highlight the deep-rooted Bahraini relations, in addition to documentary programmes and patriotic songs related to the glorious occasion, he added.
