Manama, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), received Alastair Long, the newly appointed UK Ambassador to Bahrain.

Lieutenant-General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Noaimi, Defence Affairs Minister was present.

The Commander-in-Chief praised the historic Bahrain-UK relations in various sectors, wishing the Ambassador success in his duties.
