Speaker of the House, Nabih Berri, said today on the occasion of Labor Day: “Only the workers of Lebanon create the holiday but do not go on holiday…for they continue with words and deeds. In all fields of their work, they have a thousand greetings and bows.” He added: “Sincerest congratulations to laborers on their Labor Day, a promise of the best work without relenting to protect their lifetime rewards and fulfill their legitimate rights in everything that enhances their decent lives, and first and foremost work for the sake of Lebanon and activate its constitutional institutions and preserve it as a final homeland for all its people, no matter how great the sacrifices….”
