Muscat, The Bilarab Bin Haitham Award for Architectural Design (BHA) today completed the technical workshop that it organized for the 30 teams that qualified to contest the next stage of the award, after the first sorting.

The concluding ceremony was held at Assayida Fatma Bint Ali Mosque in the Wilayat of A’Seeb.

The technical workshop was aimed at providing the qualifiers with key skills that improve their chances of passing the second sorting.

In the second sorting, only 10 projects will qualify to the final round, where the top 3 projects will be declared winners of the BHA.

The 3rd of January 2023 is the date set for the announcement of the top 10 projects shortlisted from the 30 projects that qualified after the first sorting.

The qualifiers will be present their projects before the jury in the Wilayat of Sur later in January 2023. After the knockouts, the top 3 projects will be announced as winners of the Bilarab Bin Haitham Award for Architectural Design. Ends/bishara/AH
