Muscat, The Central Bank of Oman (CBO) announced the auction results of the 67th Government Development Bonds (GDB) issue worth RO 300 million.

According to a media release issued by CBO’s Monetary Operations Department,

the 67 h GDB Issue, which received overwhelming response from investors, has

received applications in excess of over RO 61.841 million at RO 361.841 million, as

against the Issue value of RO 300 million.

The average yield was 5.15 percent at an equivalent price of RO 102.035, while the highest yield was 5.34 percent at an equivalent price of RO 100.925 and the lowest was at 4.88 percent at an equivalent price of RO 103.640.

The 7-years Bond will be issued on Thursday, 22nd April 2021 and it will mature on 22nd April 2028, carrying a coupon rate of 5.50 % p.a.

The issue was open for subscription from 4 to 19 April 2021.
