CEO for OAMC Statement

Sheikh Ayman bin Ahmed bin Sultan al- Hosani, CEO of Oman Airports Management Company (OAMC) affirmed that the Sultanate’s hosting the Airport Council International (ACI) Airport Exchange Forum and Exhibition on December 27th came after OAMC had submitted an application dossier to ACI , the official umbrella for world airports, to host the 11th version of the event.

OAMC CEO said in a statement to Oman News Agency (ONA) that the company has made preparations to ensure honorable presence of the Sultanate in the international forums as a country that can host such international events.

He pointed out that the Forum, is the first international event to be hosted by Oman Convention and Exhibition Center. He added that the 11th version of ACI Airport Exchange Forum main theme will be ‘ Driving Airports Towards Profitable Operation and Excellent Customer Service’. The themes also include Airport Operation, Digital Innovation, Data and Security, Crisis Management and Airport Development.

He noted that hosting the most prominent international event in airports management is an achievement for the hosting company as it will gather more than 1500 participants from 48 countries to discuss the latest developments in airport management, as well as the regional, international and security challenges and the future vision of this vital sector. They will also explore possible ways to crate partnerships among airports in the world and eliminating the difficulties. They will also discuss linking all airports to create healthy environment for the growth of this vital sector.
