The authorities have published a clarification on the permits for the home delivery service by restaurants and cafes from 8 to 15 May between 7 pm and 4 am.

The statement said that the permit to deliver orders is granted to street vendors to transport food in all governorates of the Sultanate.

A new permit is not granted to restaurants and cafes in the governorates of Muscat and Dhofar because it is handled by the food delivery companies.

Some restaurants and cafes can, however, utilize the previously issued permits.
