Competitiveness Committee Stresses Need to Observe Accuracy of Outbound Data
Muscat, The National Competitiveness Committee (NCO) today held its second meeting of 2021 under the chairmanship of Dr. Said Mohammed al-Saqri, Minister of Economy.
The meeting reviewed international reports and indicators of institutions to which the NCO is affiliated. It looked into 10 such reports, updates about the progress made in the 2021 Plan of Action and tasks scheduled for the forthcoming months of the year.
The members of the committee stressed that the information presented to international organizations be accurate and up-to-date because wrong information will reflect negatively on the Sultanate’s global rating.
The NCO works in coordination with all departments within Oman and abroad to promote the Sultanate’s profile and upgrade its competitiveness rating in global development indices.
