Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa met with the Higher Committee for Al Bilad Shield for Corporate Social Responsibility award, led by Al Bilad Press Board of Directors Chairman Abdulnabi Abdullah Al Shoala.

The chairman thanked the deputy prime minister for patronizing the second edition of the award held next September.

The deputy prime minister stressed the importance of social responsibility to establish a successful partnership between the public and private sectors, in line with the royal directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

He stressed the efforts of the media industry in highlighting the private sector’s efforts to achieving sustainable development that requires the integration of corporate social responsibility.
