Muscat: Within eight hours, the Omani national team has rescued two Turkish citizens from under the rubble, seven days after Türkiye’s devastating earthquake.
A statement issued online by Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) said: “After strenuous efforts that resulted in the rescue of a Turkish citizen, the National Search and Rescue Team managed to rescue another person while still alive from under the rubble, in one of the locations in the Turkish city of Antakya.”

Additionally, a part of the rescue operation that took place in a neighborhood of the city of Antakya in southern Turkey resulted in the rescue of a Turkish citizen this afternoon. The citizen was treated by the team’s medical staff, and was transferred to the hospital while in good health.
