Egyptian President Leaves Oman

Muscat, President Abdul Fattah el Sisi of the Arab Republic of Egypt left here this afternoon after an official two-day visit to the Sultanate of Oman.

The Egyptian President was seen off at the Royal Airport by HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs, Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court, Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’mani, Minister of the Royal Office, Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance (Head of the Mission of Honour), Abdullah bin Nassir Al Rahbi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Arab Republic of Egypt and its Permanent Delegate to the Arab League, Khalid Radi, Ambassador of Egypt to Oman and members of the Mission of Honour, as well as members of the Egyptian Embassy in Muscat.

President Abdul Fattah el Sisi was accompanied during his visit by an official delegation comprised Sameh Shoukry, Foreign Minister, Major General Staff Ahmed Mohammed Ali, Chief of the President’s Office, Dr. Hala El-Said, Minister of Planning and Economic Development, Major General Abbas Kamel, Chief of the Intelligence Service, Major General Mohsen Abdel Nabi, Director of the President’s Office, Major General Staff Mustafa Shawkat, Commander of the Republican Guard Forces and Khalid Radi, Ambassador of Egypt to Oman.

The visit explored various areas that serve the joint interests and meet aspirations of their peoples. It also discussed a range of topics of concern to the two sides in light of the regional and international developments.
