Egyptian President Leaves Sultanate

President Abdel Fattah el Sisi of the Arab

Republic of Egypt and his accompanying delegation left here today

after a three-day state visit to the Sultanate during which he met with

His Majesty Sultan Qaboos Bin Said.

The Egyptian President and his accompanying delegation were

seen-off at the Royal Airport by Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud al-Said,

Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers, Yousef bin Alawi bin

Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs (Head of Mission of

Honour Accompanying the President), Sheikh Al Fadl bin Mohammed

al-Harthy, Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, Sayyid Saud

bin Hilal al-Busaidi, Minister of State and Governor of Muscat, Dr. Ali

bin Ahmed al-Issa’ei, Sultanate’s Ambassador to the Arab Republic of

Egypt and its Permanent Delegate to the Arab League and members of

the Egyptian Embassy in Muscat.

During his visit to the Sultanate, the Egyptian President was

accompanied by an official delegation comprising Sameh Shukri,

Foreign Minister, Mustafa Sherif Mahmoud, Chief of the Egyptian

President’s Office, Eng. Tariq Qabeel, Minister of Trade and Industry,

Dr. Hala Helmy, Minister of Planning, Follow-up and Administrative

Reform, Lt.Gen Mohammed Ahmed Zaki, Commander of the

Republican Guard, Maj.Gen Abbas Mustafa Kamel, Director of the

Office of the Egyptian President and Acting Head of the General

Intelligence Service, Mohammed Ahmed Fahmi, Ambassador of the

Arab Republic of Egypt to the Sultanate and a number of senior

Egyptian officials.
