Embassy of Oman in Jordan: “We have no assigned representative to follow up on student issues”

Muscat: On its official account on Twitter, the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan issued a notice in which it said that it had recently noticed some people claiming to be representatives of the cultural section of the Embassy.

The Embassy affirmed that it has no representative assigned by the Embassy itself to follow up the issues of Omani students in Jordanian universities and other agencies.

In January, the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Jordan celebrated the graduation of 1,200 Omani students studying in Jordanian universities in the academic year 2022-2023.

Salem bin Suleiman Al-Wahaibi, First Secretary at the Embassy and the Chargé d’Affaires of the Cultural Department, congratulated the graduates, wishing them success in their lives. He expressed his thanks to the Jordanian government and people for the great care given to Omani students and everyone residing in Jordan.

At the end of the ceremony, Counselor Faisal bin Sultan Al Hosani, Chargé d’Affaires of the Sultanate of Oman’s Embassy in Jordan, handed certificates to graduates and outstanding students.
