Muscat, The sub-committees of emergency management in governorates that are expected to be affected by the tropical depression in the Arabian Sea held their extraordinary meeting today.

The meeting, headed by Royal Oman Police (ROP) directors in those governorates, comes within the framework of measurements taken to deal with the expected impact of the tropical depression.

The sub-committees reviewed the preparedness of all sectors and activate the state of alert to alleviate the expected impact.
