Endowments, Religious Affairs Ministry Announces Results of Sorting for those Eligible for 1445 AH Hajj

Muscat: The Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs today announced the results of sorting for those eligible for Hajj for the 1445 AH season via text messages.

Those eligible for Hajj are required to complete contracting procedures and electronic payment of 50 percent for the Hajj companies they have joined within 10 days via the electronic registration system for pilgrims of the Sultanate of Oman (hajj.om).

This was stated during a meeting of the Permanent Committee for Hajj Affairs, headed by Ahmed bin Saleh bin Sufyan Al Rashdi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs.

The electronic registration system for pilgrims in the Sultanate of Oman is considered one of the most prominent governed systems for registering pilgrims. The system automatically sorts those eligible according to specific criteria that take into account the priority of eligibility. The system is characterized by transparency and speed in showing the results and sending messages to the eligible ones. This
step facilitates early preparation and selection for the citizen and resident who intends to go to perform the Hajj and to choose companies specialized in operating hajj missions.
