“FIRST HUMANITARIAN AID PLANE FOR SYRIA LANDED TODAY IN BEIRUT IN IMPLEMENTATION OF OUR DECISION TO OPEN OUR AIRSPACE & PORTS,” TWEETS HAMIEH

Caretaker Minister of Public Works and Transport, Ali Hamieh, wrote on Twitter: “The first humanitarian aid plane to Syria landing at Rafic Hariri International Airport-Beirut today was Italian, carrying aid to the people in the areas of the earthquake in Syria, as an implementation of our decision to open our airspace and our ports before all transport aircrafts wishing to do so.”
