Foreign Minister Arrives In Oman

Baghdad, Foreign Minister Mohammed Ali Al-Hakim arrived in Oman on Friday and met with his counterpart Yousuf Bin Alawi. They discussed the importance of developing relations between the two brotherly countries and upgrading them to meet the aspirations of the two peoples.

A foreign ministry statement said “The visit comes to sustain the momentum of communication and consultation on the latest developments in the region to ensure the security and interests of both countries, and promote the discourse of moderation.”

For his part, the Omani minister expressed appreciation for the role of Iraq in the region and his happiness for the development and progress of the relationship between Iraq and Oman to serve the interests of the peoples of the two brotherly countries and the efforts exerted to resolve the crises in the region.
